OUR CAMPFIRE STORY

 It Takes a Village.

We believe learning was never meant to happen in isolation.

Children thrive when they are surrounded by caring adults, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to explore the world around them. Families thrive when they have support, connection, and a community that walks alongside them.

That belief is the foundation of The Village.

Community Before Curriculum

Curriculum matters, but community comes first.

When children feel safe, connected, and valued, learning follows naturally. We believe relationships are not separate from education—they are an essential part of it.

At The Village, we create spaces where friendships grow, curiosity is encouraged, and families learn together.

Learning Through Living

We believe education extends far beyond textbooks and worksheets.

Children learn by creating, exploring, asking questions, solving problems, serving others, and engaging with their communities. Some lessons happen around a table, others happen on a trail, at a museum, through a project, or during a conversation with a friend.

Learning is not confined to a classroom. It is woven into everyday life.

Every Family Has Something to Offer

The Village is built by families, not just for families.

Each person brings unique gifts, experiences, skills, and perspectives. Some lead activities. Some organize events. Some offer encouragement and support. Some simply show up and help create a welcoming space.

Together, we build a richer community than any one person could create alone.

A Place to Belong

We believe every family deserves a place where they are welcomed, valued, and known.

Whether you are new to homeschooling, a seasoned educator, raising neurodiverse learners, or simply looking for connection, there is a place for you here.

You do not have to walk this journey alone.

Our Hope

Our hope is that children leave The Village with confidence, curiosity, and meaningful friendships.

Our hope is that parents leave feeling supported, encouraged, and connected.

Our hope is that every family who gathers here experiences what so many people are searching for:

A place to learn.

A place to grow.

A place to belong.

A Village.
