The Village is a homeschool co-op collective where multiple tribes, each a “village” of families, come together under one connected community. Each tribe creates enriching classes, engaging clubs, and social celebrations, giving children opportunities to explore academics, creativity, and personal interests. Through hands-on learning, collaborative projects, and meaningful community connections, The Village nurtures curiosity, supports growth, and fosters a strong sense of belonging for children and families alike.

Our Why: The Heart Behind The Village Co-Op

The Village Co-Op was created from a simple truth: raising and educating children takes a village and sometimes, we have to build that village ourselves.

We exist to bring families together who believe in community-driven education, meaningful connection, and the freedom to learn and grow at their own rhythm. Each season, we gather to share classes, clubs, and celebrations that reflect the creativity, curiosity, and care of our families. Every offering is created by our members, for our members, so that learning feels alive, flexible, and deeply human.

Our goal isn’t just to homeschool together. It’s to cultivate belonging, nurture lifelong friendships, and create experiences that remind our children (and ourselves) that we are never alone in this journey.

Because when families come together with intention and heart, learning becomes a shared adventure, and community becomes home.

How We Differ from a Traditional Homeschool Co-Op

Traditional homeschool co-ops often function like mini-schools; with structured classes, assigned teachers, and a set curriculum that families follow together. They can be wonderful spaces for academic collaboration, but they sometimes miss the deeper heartbeat of community connection and flexibility that many families crave.

The Village Co-Op was built with a different rhythm in mind. We believe education should be alive, shaped by curiosity, creativity, and the seasons of life. Instead of a rigid structure, we offer a living network of tribes, where classes, clubs, and celebrations evolve with the needs and interests of our families. Each season is a fresh opportunity to explore new topics, form friendships, and contribute your own gifts to the community.

Our members aren’t just participants, they’re co-creators. Every class and club is dreamed up and led by parents, mentors, or older students who bring their passions to the table. Together, we create a learning environment that honors individuality, nurtures belonging, and celebrates the joy of discovery.

Our Play & Projects Approach

At The Village Co-Op, learning happens through doing. Our Play & Projects approach blends purposeful play with hands-on projects to spark curiosity, build skills, and deepen understanding.

Children explore ideas through movement, creativity, and collaboration; connecting academic concepts to real-life experiences. Each season, our classes invite students to learn with joy, intention, and a sense of wonder.

Because for us, play isn’t separate from education

it’s where true learning begins.

Children and Teacher in Kindergarten

Wanderers (Ages 0–7)

Our youngest explorers, the Wanderers, learn through wonder, rhythm, and play. This is where curiosity blooms through stories, nature walks, songs, and hands-on moments of discovery. Here, children begin their journey connected to the world around them and the people who make it home.

Outdoor Education

Adventurers (Ages 7–14)

The Adventurers are the heartbeat of exploration. They dig deeper, ask big questions, and learn by doing, whether through creative projects, outdoor discovery, or shared community experiences. This season is about finding confidence, growing friendships, and embracing the joy of learning together.

Trailblazers (Ages 14–18)

Our Trailblazers lead with heart. These emerging young adults step into mentorship, leadership, and purpose, guiding younger students, taking initiative in projects, and preparing for what comes next. They are the torchbearers of The Village, shaping the path ahead with courage and compassion.
